It's time for another update:
After 2 years and 10 months I moved back to Israel
. I had a lot of fun living in Canada 
, and met good new friends & had a lot of new good experiences.
I had the pleasure to join and be a part of the Toronto DA group
and join them on several fun and exciting meetings! In case you live in Toronto and would like to meet some fellow DeviantArt people I would sure recommend joining the group and going to the meetings! If you will go thru my scraps you would see pictures from some of the meetings and see how fun it is!
In case you are a member of the group that I met: I had such a good time meeting you, and would hope to see you in the future!
In other news, at the last few months I've been uploading more of my photos to my gallery. In the last year I've been going and developing my photography skills. I still like and enjoy doing pencil sketches and digital art, but it seems that I had more than a few chances of taking some good pictures.
It's funny, because I feel a bit bad flooding my gallery with more pictures than pencil sketches or digital art. I'd love you to comment and give me feedback about this subject: Do you enjoy seeing more and more photographs in my gallery? Do you think I should try and balance my different art styles around?

I still like and enjoy doing pencil sketches and digital art, but it seems that I had more than a few chances of taking some good pictures.
It's funny, because I feel a bit bad flooding my gallery with more pictures than pencil sketches or digital art. I'd love you to comment and give me feedback about this subject: Do you enjoy seeing more and more photographs in my gallery? Do you think I should try and balance my different art styles around?

So, some updates...

If you are watching me then you notice I don't write a new journal entry often. So here's a new one!
It's been more than a year and a half since I moved to Canada. I'm still in Toronto where the city community of art is pretty cool!
A few weeks ago I bought a new camera -Nikon D3200, an improvement then my old Canon PowerShot A1000 IS. So far I've got the basic lens of 18 - 55 mm and a telephoto lens: 55 - 300 mm.
If you looked at my gallery you know I take macro shots. But so far I haven't added a good macro lens. If you have a recommendation for a good (and not so expensive) macro lens please let me know!
People tell me I have a good eye for shots so now I'm trying to develop my photography skills. I've always had fun taking photos and now I'm running around the city with my camera.
So I hope you will like the photos I'll upload here in the future!
And as for my pencil sketches and digital art, well I'm still doing it, been a bit slow lately. but keep checking out and see some new stuff coming soon!
I think that's all the updates for now, so until next time (and don't hold your breath) keep enjoying my art.
Because an artist is like a tree: many branches -different kinds of art form from a single soul.

Hello fellow friends!
I left Israel to try a new life style in Canada. I'm currently living in the city of Toronto. Because of this drastic change I did in my life, it will take me a while to get a new rooting. So I might be a bit less active here on deviantart but that doesn't mean that I stopped doing my art so don't you guys worry 
I'm not saying that I'm done with Israel for good; I just wanted to get out of where I was burn and see where the winds will carry me.

update to april

Hello friends!
So, just to bring you update on stuff...
I started working on a big piece (inspired by a movie I sew) it will have 5 characters form 5 different "worlds" combined together (you will understand when its finish) I guess it will take some time to finish it. I sketch with pencil on papers the characters and then I scan them into the computer and start digital paint them in Photoshop. I have great expectation on that one so hope it will come out great, so stay tuned!
My T-shirt design for the Deviantwear "cute monster" contest didn't get to the semi-finals. But I'm still crossing my fingers to have the chance to be the 3rd one to get chosen from all entrees.
I want to wish good luck to everyone in the contest!
And I would like to thank whoever voted for my "cute monster" T-shirt design!
(Update 10/4/12: I didn't won at all, oh well, was fun)
